Vimentins are class-III intermediate filaments found in various non-epithelial cells, especially mesenchymal cells.
Vimentin is attached to the nucleus, endoplasmic reticulum, and mitochondria, either laterally or terminally.
Involved with LARP6 in the stabilization of type I collagen
Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Peptide ELISA: 1:4000Western Blot: 1-3ug/ml, ~55kD band observed in lysates of cell line HeLa and Jurkat (calculated MW of 53.7kD according to NP_003371.2)

Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
