A few years after its introduction, warfarin was found to be effective and relatively safe for preventing thrombosis and embolism (abnormal formation and migration of blood clots) in many disorders.
Despite its effectiveness, treatment with warfarin has several shortcomings.
Many commonly used medications interact with warfarin, as do some foods , and its activity has to be monitored by blood testing to ensure an adequate yet safe dose is taken.

Recommended Dilution:Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
