Trypsin is a serine protease found in the digestive system of many vertebrates, where it hydrolyses proteins.
It is produced in the pancreas as the inactive proenzyme trypsinogen and cleaves peptide chains mainly at the carboxyl side of the amino acids lysine or arginine, except when either is followed by proline.
Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA.

Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
