Transferrins are iron-binding blood plasma glycoproteins that control the level of free iron in biological fluids.
In humans, it is encoded by the TF gene.
Although iron bound to transferrin is less than 0.1% (4mg) of the total body iron, it is the most important iron pool, with the highest rate of turnover (25mg/24h).
Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry and Immunocytochemistry.
Other applications not tested.

Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.

Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
