Albumin refers generally to any protein that is water soluble, which is moderately soluble in concentrated salt solutions, and experiences heat denaturation.
They are commonly found in blood plasma, and are unique to other plasma proteins in that they are not glycosylated.
Substances containing albumin, such as egg white, are called albuminoids.
Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot.

Recommended Dilution:ELISA: 1:200-1:500Western Blot: 1:5000-1:10,000Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
