Fluorescein is a synthetic organic compound available as a dark orange/red powder soluble in water and alcohol.
It is widely used as a fluorescent tracer for many applications.
Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry and Immunocytochemistry.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilutions:ELISA (coating): 1:100-1:500ELISA (primary) 1:1000-1:30,000Western Blot (colorimetric): 1:1000-1:10,000Western Blot (chemiluminescent): 1:1000-1:30,000Immunohistochemistry: 1:200-1:2000Immunocytochemistry: 1:200-1:2000Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
