- Calmodulin is a small, highly conserved calcium binding protein found in all eukaryotic cells.
- With the capacity to bind up to four calcium ions, this 17kD protein acts as an important intracellular receptor for regulatory calcium signals.
- Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA and Dot Blot.
- Other applications not tested.
- Recommended Dilution:Dot Blot: 1:400-1:2000ELISA: 1:15,000-1:50,000Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
- Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
- Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
- Store at -20°C.
- Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
- For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
