Phosphatidylinositol-specific phospholipase C (PIPLC), an enzyme that can specifically release phosphatidylinositol-linked proteins from host cells, is one of the extracellular enzymes produced by Staphylococcus aureus
1-phosphatidylinositol-4,5-bisphosphate phosphodiesterase beta-3catalyzes the formation of inositol 1,4,5-trisphosphate and diacylglycerol from phosphatidylinositol 4,5-bisphosphate.
This reaction uses calcium as a cofactor and plays an important role in the intracellular transduction of many extracellular signals.
This gene is activated by two G-protein alpha subunits, alpha-q and alpha-11.
Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry, Immunocytochemistry.
Other applications not tested.

Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
