C-type lectin domain family 10, member A also known as CLEC10A is a member of the C-type lectin/C-type lectin-like domain (CTL/CTLD) superfamily.
Members of this family share a common protein fold and have diverse functions, such as cell adhesion, cell-cell signalling, glycoprotein turnover, and roles in inflammation and immune response
The encoded type 2 transmembrane protein may function as a cell surface antigen.
Two transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been identified for this gene.Sequence analysis predicted that the 292aa type II transmembrane protein has a cytoplasmic domain with a tyr-glu-asn-phe (YENF) internalization signal, a transmembrane domain, a neck domain, and a C-type lectin domain containing a gln-pro-asp motif.
Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry, Immunocytochemistry.
Other applications not tested.

Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
