The heat shock proteins (HSPs) comprise a group of highly conserved, abundantly expressed proteins with diverse functions, including the assembly and sequestering of multi-protein complexes, the transportation of nascent poly-peptide chains across cellular membranes and the regulation of protein folding.
HSPA14 (heat shock 70kD protein 14), also known as HSP70-4 or HSP70L1, is a 509aa novel HSP protein derived from human dendritic cells.
Belonging to the heat shock protein 70 family, HSPA14 is thought to promote dendritic cell maturation.
It is also suggested that HSPA14 stimulates secretion of the proinflammatory cytokines interleukin 12p70 (IL-12p70), IL-1B, TNFa, and the chemokines IP-10, MIP-1a, MIP-1B and normal T cell expressed and secreted (RANTES).
Applications:Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence, Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Immunofluorescence: 1:50-1:200Western Blot: 1:500-1:2000Immunohistochemistry: 1:50-1:200Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
