The 40S ribosomal protein SA (RPSA) is a high-affinity, non-integrin family, laminin receptor, also known as 67kD laminin receptor or 37kD laminin receptor precursor (37LRP) (1).
Laminins, a family of extracellular matrix glycoproteins, are the major noncollagenous constituent of basement membranes and have been implicated in a variety of biological processes including cell adhesion, differentiation, migration, signaling, neurite outgrowth and metastasis (2).
RPSA is overexpressed in multiple types of cancers and has recently been shown to act as a cancer- specific death receptor (3).
Applications:Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence, ELISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Immunofluorescence: 20ug/mlWestern Blot: 1-2ug/mlImmunohistochemistry (paraffin): 5ug/mlOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
