The LRRC26 protein was initially identified as a cytokeratin-associated protein whose expression was elevated in multiple cancer cell lines and cancer specimens as well in normal prostate and salivary gland tissues (1).
LRRC26 was later found to negatively regulate the NF-kappaB activation and suppresses tumor growth and metastasis (2).
LRRC26 can also act to selectively alter the efficacy of large conductance calcium-activated K (BK) channels (3).
Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Western Blot: 0.5-1ug/mlOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months.
