The Dedicator of cytokinesis protein 8 (DOCK8) is a member of the DOCK180 family of guanine nucleotide exchange factors (1).
DOCK8 plays an essential role in humoral immune responses and is important in the proper formation of the B cell immunological synapse (reviewed in 2).
Mutations in this gene result in the autosomal recessive form of the hyper-IgE syndrome (3).
Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Western Blot: 1-2ug/mlImmunohistochemistry (paraffin): 5ug/mlOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
