The DNAJA4 protein is the mammalian homolog of the chaperone HSP40 (1) and acts as a co-chaperone with the heat shock protein HSP70 (2).
DNAJA4 is highly expressed in heart and testis, accounting for approximately 1% of total protein in mouse heart (2).
DNAJA4 is also regulated by the sterol regulatory element binding transcription factor 2 (SREBF2) and plays a role in the synthesis of cholesterol (3).
Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Western Blot: 1-2ug/mlOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
