D1 dopamine receptor-interacting protein calcyon (D1IP) is a type II single transmembrane protein.
D1IP belongs to neron-specific gene (NSG) family of proteins.
It is required for maximal stimulated calcium release after stimulation of purinergic or muscarinic but not beta-adrenergic receptors.
The encoded protein interacts with D1 dopamine receptor drd1) and may interact with other dopamine receptor subtypes and/or GPCRs.
Dopamine is an endogenous catecholamine that influences many cellular activities, including behavior, hormone synthesis and release, blood pressure and intracellular ion transport.
Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:ELISA: 1:2000-1:5000 as detection antibody, and 1:200-1:1000 as coating antibody in sandwich ELISAOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
