Cell adhesion molecule 3 (CADM3) is a member of a family of immunoglobulin-like, calcium-independent cell-cell adhesion molecules (1,2).
CADM3 localizes to non-junctional contact sites of presynaptic nerve terminals, axons and glia cell processes and is thought to play an important role in the formation of synapses, axon bundles and myelinated axons (3).
Recently, CADM3 has been shown to suppress the growth and tumorigenic ability of colon cancer cells, indicating that it can act as a tumor suppressor (4).
Applications:Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence, ELISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Immunofluorescence: 20ug/mlWestern Blot: 1-2ug/mlImmunohistochemistry (paraffin): 5ug/mlOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
