Cytokine that binds to TNFRSF1A/TNFR1 and TNFRSF1B/TNFBR.
It is mainly secreted by macrophages and can induce cell death of certain tumor cell lines.
It is potent pyrogen causing fever by direct action or by stimulation of interleukin-1 secretion and is implicated in the induction of cachexia, Under certain conditions it can stimulate cell proliferation and induce cell differentiation.
The TNF intracellular domain (ICD) form induces IL12 production in dendritic cells.
Applications:Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence and Immunohistochemistry.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Immunofluorescence: 1:100-1:500Immunohistochemistry: 1:50-1:100Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
