- Blue light-dependent regulator of the circadian feedback loop.
- Inhibits CLOCK|NPAS2-ARNTL E box-mediated transcription.
- Acts, in conjunction with CRY2, in maintaining period length and circadian rhythmicity.
- Has no photolyase activity.
- Capable of translocating circadian clock core proteins such as PER proteins to the nucleus.
- May inhibit CLOCK|NPAS2-ARNTL transcriptional activity through stabilizing the unphosphorylated form of ARNTL.
- Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot.
- Other applications not tested.
- Recommended Dilution:Western Blot: 1:500-1:1000Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
- Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
- Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
- Store at -20°C.
- Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
- For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
