- ZAP70 is a 70-kD tyrosine phosphoprotein that associates with the zeta chain and undergoes tyrosine phosphorylation following TCR stimulation.
- The ZAP70 gene is expressed in T- and natural KILLER cells.
- Protein-Tyrosine Kinases (PTKs) play an integral role in T-cell activation.
- Stimulation of the T-cell antigen receptor results in tyrosine phosphorylation of a number of cellular substrates.
- One of these is the TCR-zeta chain, which can mediate the transduction of extracellular stimuli into cellular effector functions.
- Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry.
- Other applications not tested.
- Recommended Dilution:Western Blot: 1:500-1:1000Immunohistochemistry: 1:50-1:100Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
- Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
- Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
- Store at -20°C.
- Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
- For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
