特徴
Involved in translocation of long-chain fatty acids (LFCA) across the plasma membrane.
Appears to be the principal fatty acid transporter in small intestinal enterocytes.
Plays a role in the formation of the epidermal barrier.
Required for fat absorption in early embryogenesis.
Has acyl-CoA ligase activity for long-chain and very-long-chain fatty acids (VLCFAs).
Indirectly inhibits RPE65 via substrate competition and via production of VLCFA derivatives like lignoceroyl-CoA.
Prevents light-induced degeneration of rods and cones.
Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA and Immunofluorescence.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Immunofluorescence: 1:100-1:500Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
