Tenascin-R (TNR) is an extracellular matix protein expressed primarily in the central nervous system.
It is a member of the tenascin (TN) gene family, which includes at least 3 genes in mammals: TNC (or hexabrachion; MIM 187380), TNX (TNXB; MIM 600985), and TNR (Erickson, 1993 [PubMed 7694605]).
The genes are expressed in distinct tissues at different times during embryonic development and are present in adult tissues.
Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA, Immunohistochemistry.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:ELISA: 1:3000-1:10,000Immunohistochemistry: 1:50-1:200Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
