特徴
- This gene encodes one of the three enolase isoenzymes found in mammals.
- This isoenzyme, a homodimer, is found in mature neurons and cells of neuronal origin.
- A switch from alpha enolase to gamma enolase occurs in neural tissue during development in rats and primates.
- Has neurotrophic and neuroprotective properties on a broad spectrum of central nervous system (CNS) neurons.
- Binds, in a calcium-dependent manner, to cultured neocortical neurons and promotes cell survival.
- Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot.
- Other applications not tested.
- Recommended Dilution:ELISA: 1:2000-1:10,000Western Blot: 1:1000-1:5000Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
- Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
- Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
- Store at -20°C.
- Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
- For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
