This gene encodes a protein subunit of the ESCRT-I complex (endosomal complexes required for transport), which functions in the transport and sorting of proteins into subcellular vesicles.
This complex can also be hijacked to facilitate the budding of enveloped viruses from the cell membrane.
Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms.
Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry.

Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
