The protein encoded by this gene has similarity to mouse protein which is a subunit of the signal recognition particle receptor (SR).
This subunit is a transmembrane GTPase belonging to the GTPase superfamily.
It anchors alpha subunit, a peripheral membrane GTPase, to the ER membrane.
SR is required for the cotranslational targeting of both secretory and membrane proteins to the ER membrane.
Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:ELISA: 1:2000-1:10000Western Blot: 1:1000-1:5000Immunohistochemistry: 1:25-1:100Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
