The protein encoded by this gene is a plus end-directed motor required for normal mitotic progression.
The encoded protein is required for normal spindle activity during mitosis and is necessary for normal brain development.
Several transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:ELISA: 1:1000-1:2000Western Blot: 1:200-1:1000Immunohistochemistry: 1:100-1:300Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.

For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
