- The heterodimer glycoprotein H-glycoprotein L is required for the fusion of viral and plasma membranes leading to virus entry into the host cell.
- Membrane fusion is mediated by the fusion machinery composed at least of gB and the heterodimer gH/gL By similarity.
- Fusion of with fibroblasts requires the additional receptor-binding protein gO, which forms a complex with gH/gL.
- Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot.
- Other applications not tested.
- Recommended Dilution:Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
- Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
- Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
- Store at -20°C.
