84-3950-91 Fatty acid-binding Protein, heart (FITC) 100ug 315769
特徴
- The intracellular fatty acid-binding proteins (FABPs) belongs to a multigene family.
- FABPs are divided into at least three distinct types, namely the hepatic-, intestinal- and cardiac-type.
- They form 14-15kD proteins and are thought to participate in the uptake, intracellular metabolism and/or transport of long-chain fatty acids.
- They may also be responsible in the modulation of cell growth and proliferation.
- Fatty acid-binding protein 3 gene contains four exons and its function is to arrest growth of mammary epithelial cells.
- FABP3 gene is a candidate tumor suppressor gene for human breast cancer.
- Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry.
- Other applications not tested.
- Recommended Dilution:Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
- Storage and StabilityStore product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks.
- For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C.
- Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt.
- Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use.
- Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
- Caution: FITC conjugates are sensitive to light.
