特徴

• The intracellular fatty acid-binding proteins (FABPs) belongs to a multigene family.
• FABPs are divided into at least three distinct types, namely the hepatic-, intestinal- and cardiac-type.
• They form 14-15kD proteins and are thought to participate in the uptake, intracellular metabolism and/or transport of long-chain fatty acids.
• They may also be responsible in the modulation of cell growth and proliferation.
• Fatty acid-binding protein 3 gene contains four exons and its function is to arrest growth of mammary epithelial cells.
• FABP3 gene is a candidate tumor suppressor gene for human breast cancer.
• Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry.
• Other applications not tested.
• Recommended Dilution:Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
• Storage and StabilityStore product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks.
• For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C.
• Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt.
• Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use.
• Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
• Caution: FITC conjugates are sensitive to light.
• For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
