特徴
- Controls the classical pathway of complement activation.
- It binds as a cofactor to C3b/C4b inactivator (C3bINA), which then hydrolyzes the complement fragment C4b.
- It also accelerates the degradation of the C4bC2a complex (C3 convertase) by dissociating the complement fragment C2a.
- It also interacts with anticoagulant protein S and with serum amyloid P component.
- The beta chain binds protein S.
- Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry.
- Other applications not tested.
- Recommended Dilution:Western Blot: 1:500-5000Immunohistochemistry: 1:20-1:200Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
- Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
- Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
- Store at -20°C.
- Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
- For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
