Histone H4 is one of the 5 main histone proteins involved in the structure of chromatin in eukaryotic cells.
H4 is a structural component of the nucleosome, and is subject to covalent modification, including acetylation and methylation, which may alter expression of genes located on DNA associated with its parent histone octamer.
Applications:Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence, ELISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Immunofluorescence: 1:200-1:1000ELISA: 1:5000Western Blot: 1:500-1:2000Immunohistochemistry: 1:100-1:300Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
