CD9 is ubiquitously expressed, with high levels found on platelets and in male reproductive tissues.
In mouse haematopoietic tissues, CD9 is expressed by myeloid and stromal cells.
CD9 is known to complex with integrins and other transmembrane proteins.
It can modulate cell adhesion and migration and also trigger platelet activation and aggregation.
Applications:Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence, ELISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Immunofluorescence: 1:200-1:1000ELISA: 1:20,000Western Blot: 1:500-1:2000Immunohistochemistry: 1:100-1:300Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
