This protein binds the cAMP response element (CRE), a sequence present in many viral and cellular promoters.
CREB stimulates transcription on binding to the CRE.
Transcription activation is enhanced by the TORC coactivators which act independently of Ser-133 phosphorylation.
Implicated in synchronization of circadian rhythmicity.
Applications:Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence, ELISA and Immunohistochemistry.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Immunofluorescence: 1:200-1:1000ELISA: 1:40,000Immunohistochemistry: 1:100-1:300Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
