• Absorbance (400nm); Emission (423nm); Extinction Coefficient 32,000.
• Raf1 is an important mediator of signal transduction pathway.
• It is activated through activation by Src and protein kinase C.
• It further phosphorylates Mek1 and cdc25.
• It can bind to GTPbound Ras through N-terminal domain.
• It also interacts with hsp90 and 14-3-3 family of proteins.
• Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunoprecipitation.
• Other applications not tested.
• Recommended Dilutions:Western Blot: 5-10ug/ml for 2hrs at RT
• Immunoprecipitation: 10ug/mg protein lysate Denatured verified, Use Protein A.
• Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
• Positive Control: MAD109 cells.
• Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
• For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, add sterile 40-50% glycerol, aliquot and store at -20°C.
• Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C.
• For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
• Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
• Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
