MaxLight™405 is a new Violet photostable dye conjugate comparable to Alexa Fluor® 405, PacificBlue™, Brilliant™ Violet 421 and offers better labeling efficiency, brighter imaging and increased immunodetection.
PTEN/MMAC1, a tumor suppressor, has been implicated in a large number of human tumors and is conserved from humans to worms.
Mutations in the PTEN are associated with several common cancers including prostate, brain and breast cancer, and with Cowden’s disease, an autosomal dominant disorder, which confers a high susceptibility to benign and malignant tumors.
Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot.
Other applications have not been tested.
Recommended Dilution:Western Blot: 2-4ug/ml for 2hrs at RT.
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Positive Control:Prostate or A431 Cells
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
For long-term storage, store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
