MaxLight™405 is a new Violet photostable dye conjugate comparable to Alexa Fluor® 405, PacificBlue™, Brilliant™ Violet 421 and offers better labeling efficiency, brighter imaging and increased immunodetection.
Enolase is a glycolytic enzyme catalyzing the reaction pathway between 2-phospho-glycerate and phosphoenol pyruvate.
In mammals, enolase molecules are dimers composed of three distinct subunits (a, b and g).
The alpha-subunit is expressed in most tissues and the beta-subunit only in muscle.
The gamma-subunit is expressed primarily in neurons, in normal and in neoplastic neuroendocrine cells.
Coexpression of NSE and chromogranin A is common in neuroendocrine neoplasms.
Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilutions:Western Blot: 2-4ug/ml for 2 hrs at RTImmunohistology: (Formalin/paraffin) 1:100 to 1:150 for 30 min) Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires boiling tissue sections in 10mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0 for 10-20 min followed by cooling at RT for 20 min
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Positive Control: IMR-5 cells, Pancreas
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
