Flt-1/vascular endothelial growth factor receptor 1 (VEGFR1), a cell membrane receptor kinase, is a high affinity receptor for vascular endothelial growth factor and is putatively involved in the growth of endothelial cells and angiogenesis.
It contains seven immunoglobulin like sequences in the extracellular domain and exhibits sequence similarity to Flk-1 and Flt-4.
MW of Antigen: 180kD
Epitope: C-terminal
Applications and Recommended Dilutions:Western Blotting (Ab 5-10ug/ml for 2hrs at RT) Immunohistochemistry(formalin/paraffin) (Use Ab at 5-10ug/ml for 30 min at RT) * [Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires boiling tissue sections in 10mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0, for 10-20 min followed by cooling at RT for 20 min.] The optimal dilution for a specific application should be determined by the investigator.
Positive Control: Hey cells.
Angiosarcoma.
Cellular Localization: Cytoplasmic
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and add glycerol (40-50%).
Freeze at-20°C or colder.
Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at-20°C.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
