CXCR4, also termed Fusin, LESTR, or HUMSTR is a member of the G-protein-coupled chemokine receptor family with seven membranespanning domains and functions as a coreceptor for X4 HIV-1 entry into CD4+ cells.
CXCR4 is expressed predominantly on naïve T cell subset of peripheral blood and is rapidly upregulated by PHA and IL-2 stimulation.
It is also expressed on neutrophils, monocytes and various cell lines.
Applications:Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry (Not Tested) and Western Blot.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilutions:Western Blot:1ug/ml for 2 hrs at RT.
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Positive Control: U937 or HeLa cells
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and add glycerol (40-50%).
Freeze at-20°C.
Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at-20°C.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
