特徴

• Rb is a tumor suppressor nuclear phosphoprotein capable of binding to DNA.
• It is phosphorylated on serine and threonine, but not on tyrosine residues.
• It forms a complex with SV40 large T antigen, adenovirus E1A, and human papilloma virus-16 E.
• Rb protein may act by regulating transcription and loss of its function leads to uncontrolled cell growth.
• Aberrations in the RB gene have been implicated in cancers of breast, colon, prostate, kidney, nasopharynx, and leukemia.
• Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot.
• Other applications not tested.
• Recommended Dilutions:Western Blot: 2-4ug/ml for 2hrsOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
• Positive Control: LS174T cells
• Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only.
• For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20°C.
• Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C.
• For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
• Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
• Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
