• MaxLight™ 650 is a new Far-IR stable dye conjugate comparable to Alexa Fluor™647, DyLight™649, Cy5™ and offers better labeling efficiency, brighter imaging and increased immunodetection.
• Absorbance (655nm); Emission (676nm); Extinction Coefficient 250,000.
• Transport of folate compounds into mammalian cells can occur via receptor-mediated or carrier-mediated mechanisms.
• A functional coordination between these 2 mechanisms has been proposed to be the method of folate uptake in certain cell types.
• Methotrexate (MTX) is an antifolate chemotherapeutic agent that is actively transported by the carrier-mediated uptake system.
• SLC19A1 plays a role in maintaining intracellular concentrations of folate.
• Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry.
• Other applications not tested.
• Recommended Dilution:Western Blot: 5ug/mlImmunohistochemistry: 4-8ug/mlOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
• Storage and Stability:Store product at 4°C in the dark.
• DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid.
• Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use.
