• Four chromosomal loci (PARK2, PARK6, PARK7, and PARK9) associated with autosomal recessive, early onset parkinsonism are known.
• Positional cloning within the refined PARK7 critical region recently identified mutations in the DJ-1 gene in PARK7-linked families.
• Mutations in the PARK7/DJ-1 gene cause autosomal-recessive Parkinsons disease.
• Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry.
• Other applications not tested.
• Recommended Dilution:Western Blot: 1:500-1:1000Immunohistochemistry: 1:100-1:300Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
• Storage and Stability:Store product at 4°C in the dark.
• DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid.
• Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use.
• Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
• Caution: MaxLight™550 conjugates are sensitive to light.
• For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.
