• Absorbance (550nm); Emission (575nm); Extinction Coefficient 150,000.
• Neprilysin (NEP) is a functional neutral endopeptidase of the type that has previously been called enkephalinase or atriopeptidase.
• NEP mRNA levels are significantly decreased in both Alzheimer’s disease and amyloid plaques individuals.
• This decreased MME expression correlates with amyloid-beta deposition but not with degeneration and dementia.
• Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry.
• Other applications not tested.
• Recommended Dilution:Western Blot: 1:500-1:1000Immunohistochemistry: 1:100-1:250Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
• Storage and Stability:Store product at 4°C in the dark.
• DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid.
• Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use.
• Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
• Caution: MaxLight™550 conjugates are sensitive to light.
• For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.
