• This gene belongs to a family of putative cation channels that are specific to spermatozoa and localize to the flagellum.
• The protein family features a single repeat with six membrane-spanning segments and a predicted calcium-selective pore region.
• This gene is part of a tandem repeat on chromosome 15q14; the second copy of this gene is thought to be a pseudogene.
• Additional splice variants have been described but their full-length nature has not been determined.
• Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot.

• Recommended Dilution:Western Blot: 1.25ug/mlOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
• Storage and Stability:Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks.
• For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C.
• Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt.
• Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use.
• Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
• Note: Sodium azide is a potent inhibitor of peroxidase and should not be added to HRP conjugates.
