F-box proteins, a critical component of the evolutionary conserved ubiquitin-protein ligase complex SCF (Skp1/Cdc53-Cullin1/F-box), recruit substrates for ubiquitination and consequent degradation through their specific protein-protein interaction domains.
Novel human F-box proteins named FBG1, FBG2, FBG3, FBG4 and FBG5 constitute a third subfamily of mammalian F-box proteins.
FBG genes are expressed in a limited number of human tissues including kidney, liver, brain and muscle tissues.
Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Western Blot: 1:500-1:1000Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks.
For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt.
Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use.
Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
