Myc gene encodes a transcription factor that is believed to regulate expression of 15% of all genes through binding of Enhancer Box sequences (E-boxes) and recruiting histone acetyltransferases (HATs).
This means that in addition to its role as a classical transcription factor, Myc also functions to regulate global chromatin structure.
Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Immunocytochemistry.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:ELISA (coating): 1:100-1:500ELISA (primary): 1:1000-1:30,000Western Blot (colorimetric): 1:1000-1:10,000Western Blot (chemiluminescent): 1:1000-1:30,000Immunocytochemistry: 1:100-1:400Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks.
For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C.
Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt.
Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use.
Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
