The 9D2 antigen isolated from senile plaque amyloid was identified as collagen-like Alzheimer amyloid plaque component (CLAC), and its precursor as CLAC-P/collagen type XXV.
Both secreted and membrane-tethered forms of CLAC-P/collagen type XXV specifically bind to fibrillized Abeta, implicating these proteins in beta-amyloidogenesis and neuronal degeneration in AD.
Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry.
Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Western Blot: 1:1000-1:2000Immunohistochemistry (paraffin): 1:10-1:500Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:Store product at 4°C.
DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid.
Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use.
Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.
Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
