特徴

• ROC (Regulator of Cullins) family proteins complex with cullin proteins to form ubiquitin ligases, an important step in the process of ubiquitin dependent protein degradation.
• ROC1 (also known as Rbx1 or Hrt1) is a highly conserved ring finger protein that is highly homologous to APC11, a subunit of the anaphase promoting complex.
• ROC1 is an essential subunit of CUL1 and CD53 ubiquitin ligases which catalyze ubiquitination of NFkB inhibitor, and Sic1 which is a CDK inhibitor.
• ROC1Cand ROC2 interact with all cullin proteins to form active ubiquitin ligases.
• Recent evidence suggests that ROC1 binds CUL1 and this promotes its nuclear localization.
• This eventually leads to formation of the active CUL1 ubiquitin ligase.
• Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation.
• Other applications not tested.
• Recommended Dilution:Western Blot: 1–5ug/ml Immunoprecipitation: 10ug/IP reaction
• Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
• Storage and Stability:Store product at 4°C in the dark.
• DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid.
• Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use.
• Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
• Caution: APC conjugates are sensitive to light.
• For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.
• Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
