• MaxLight™ 550 is a new Yellow-Green photostable dye conjugate comparable to Alexa Fluor™546, 555, DyLight™549 , Cy3™, TRITC and offers better labeling efficiency, brighter imaging and increased immunodetection.
• Absorbance (550nm); Emission (575nm); Extinction Coefficient 150,000.
• Broad-specificity phosphohydrolase that dephosphorylates exogenous bioactive glycerolipids and sphingolipids.
• Catalyzes the conversion of phosphatidic acid (PA) to diacylglycerol (DG).
• Pivotal regulator of lysophosphatidic acid (LPA) signaling in the cardiovascular system.
• Major enzyme responsible of dephosphorylating LPA in platelets, which terminates signaling actions of LPA.
• May control circulating, and possibly also regulate localized, LPA levels resulting from platelet activation.
• It has little activity towards ceramide-1-phosphate (C-1-P) and sphingosine-1-phosphate (S-1-P).
• The relative catalytic efficiency is LPA > PA > S-1-P > C-1-P.
• It's down-regulation may contribute to the development of colon adenocarcinoma.
• Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot.
• Other applications not tested.
• Recommended Dilution:Western Blot: 1:1000Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
• Storage and Stability:Store product at 4°C in the dark.
• DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid.
• Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use.
• Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
• Caution: MaxLight™550 conjugates are sensitive to light.
• For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.
• Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
