• GCN5 functions as a histone acetyltransferase (HAT) to promote transcriptional activation.
• Acetylation of histones gives a specific tag for epigenetic transcription activation.
• This protein has significant histone acetyltransferase activity with core histones, but not with nucleosome core particles.
• Applications:Suitable for use in FLISA and Western Blot.
• Other applications not tested.
• Recommended Dilution:FLISA: 1:1,000Western Blot: 1:50-1:100Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
• Storage and Stability:Store product at 4°C in the dark.
• DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid.
• Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use.
