• ABCG1 is a member of the superfamily of ATP-binding cassette (ABC) transporters.
• ABC proteins transport various molecules across extra- and intra-cellular membranes.
• ABC genes are divided into seven distinct subfamilies (ABC1, MDR/TAP, MRP, ALD, OABP, GCN20, White).
• This protein is a member of the White subfamily.
• It is involved in macrophage cholesterol and phospholipids transport, and may regulate cellular lipid homeostasis in other cell types.
• Applications:Suitable for use in FLISA and Western Blot.
• Other applications not tested.
• Recommended Dilution:FLISA: 1:1,000Western Blot: 1:50-1:100Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
• Storage and Stability:Store product at 4°C in the dark.
• DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid.
• Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use.
• Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
• Caution: MaxLight™405 conjugates are sensitive to light.
• For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.
