The B regulatory subunit might modulate substrate selectivity and catalytic activity, and also might direct the localization of the catalytic enzyme to a particular subcellular compartment.
The phosphorylated form mediates the interaction between AKT1 and PP2A phosphatase leading to dephosphorylation of AKT1 on the 'Thr-308' and 'Ser-373' residues.

Storage and Stability:Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks.

Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
Note: Sodium azide is a potent inhibitor of peroxidase and should not be added to HRP conjugates.
For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
