特徴

• HMGB2 is a member of the non-histone chromosomal high mobility group protein family.
• The proteins of this family are chromatin-associated and ubiquitously distributed in the nucleus of higher eukaryotic cells.
• In vitro studies have demonstrated that this protein is able to efficiently bend DNA and form DNA circles.
• These studies suggest a role in facilitating cooperative interactions between cis-acting proteins by promoting DNA flexibility.
• This protein was also reported to be involved in the final ligation step in DNA end-joining processes of DNA double-strand breaks repair and V(D)J recombination.
• Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot.
• Other applications not tested.
• Recommended Dilution:ELISA: 1:1,000Western Blot: 1:50-1:100Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
• Storage and Stability:Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks.
• For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C.
• Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt.
• Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use.
• Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
• For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
• Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
